The Kingdom of God
In the earthly kingdom set up, the king has complete dominion over everything with his kingdom. No voting or elections takes place; the king himself is the government.
In the heavenly setup, God is the king, and his Spirit rules his kingdom. You can’t worship any other king apart from God in his kingdom. He is the ruler and owns everything in that kingdom.
Luke 17:21
Jesus said, “The Kingdom of God is within you”
As believers and children of God, it’s possible to manifest the Kingdom of God here on earth. This is because the governor in the kingdom of God, the Holy Spirit, dwells in you and me as believers.
Luke 11:33
“No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.”
When the people of the world look at you and me, they should see the Holy Spirit at work within us-whatever flows from us should be the Kingdom of heaven, the culture, language, wealth, strength, health, history and much more.
You can mirror the Kingdom of heaven here on earth by the power of the Holy Spirit who was in Jesus.
As believers who manifest the Holy Spirit, it’s possible for us to be in heaven and on earth simultaneously. When Jesus was being baptised in river Jordan, the Holy Spirit came upon him so powerfully, allowing him to be in heaven and on earth simultaneously. So when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we can also manifest the things of the heavenly Kingdom here on earth.
In as much as we believe that God can perform miracles and wonders through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can do so through our mouths, our tongues and our words. God can do it through us by the same Holy Spirit that was in Jesus because he is in us. We can heal cancer, raise the dead, heal the sick, and deliver from evil powers and many more by the power of the Holy Spirit, the governor in God’s Kingdom.
